A fan was photographed with former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist John Frusciante this weekend at LAX in Los Angeles just before he boarded a flight.

pelosinvida wrote, “My face is (it’s always been) unfortunate but finding #JohnFrusciante at #LAX is priceless. #rhcp #losangeles #idol.”

A commenter asked, “Omg! What did John tell you? It looks like he was saying something lol.”

pelosinvida said that Frusciante was ‘very nice.’ He also described him as ‘very kind and timid.’

“Really nice person I just said him hello, he was with his girlfriend (I supose…)”

He added, “I did not want to disturb him.”

Frusciante has been retired from touring for a decade, but he has always said to have been friendly whenever he encounters fans, despite his retreat from the spotlight.

Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer discussed Chris Cornell’s death and covering “Seasons” in a radio interview. If you are dealing with mental health issues, you can call the Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255, or enter their live chat.

“I sat on the floor with the lights out listening to that song Seasons that I played, 25 times in a row when I was 12 years old, whenever it came out. He was a big part of my young life, that band, his songwriting. I always felt that there was a sophistication to his songwriting that was unlike lots of people that you saw. His death just seems so surprising to everybody.”

He added, “I grew up listening to these people who I am now considered peers of somewhat because I play in this band. There are certain people whose path I never crossed, he’s one of them. I rode in an elevator with him once, but I just feel like, if I think about his death too much, I get so sad.”

“I hope beyond hope that his life gave him more enjoyment than not. It’s hard to measure.”
