AC/DC Icon Reacts To Stunning Brian Johnson Remark

AC/DC drummer Chris Slade recently posted a photo and quote from Brian Johnson.

He wrote, “ACDC COACHELLA Anniversary 2015. BRIAN:- ‘I hope you guys like Rock n Roll – cos that’s all we do’ 🤘🤘”

Chris Slade’s status in AC/DC is currently unknown, as the band have undergone multiple lineup changes over the last 5 years. First Stevie Young replaced Malcolm Young after Malcolm’s dementia diagnosis, then Slade replaced Phil Rudd after legal issues, followed by Axl Rose replacing Brian Johnson after he had hearing problems, and then Cliff Williams announcing his retirement. Last year, Johnson, Williams, and Rudd were photographed with AC/DC at a studio in Vancouver.

The band have been quiet about their plans since then, but there have been rampant rumors about shows and a new album, with material supposedly based on riffs Malcolm Young had co-written before his 2017 death. It’s been rumored that the release may not be a full album, but only time will tell.

There were reports in many of Europe’s biggest newspapers that a reunited AC/DC would perform at Sergio Ramos’ wedding, but sadly, it appears that negotiations did not lead to an agreement.

Ray42 posted on AC/DC Fans:

Hi guys, I’m from Spain and I can confirm that Ramos himself said that AC/DC are NOT playing. He made this statement at a short press conference earlier this evening, just at the gates of the wedding reception. I watched it on the TV but I couldn’t record anything because it was just a few seconds.
