In 2016, Axl Rose, best known as the frontman of Guns N’ Roses, temporarily joined AC/DC as their lead singer during the band’s “Rock or Bust” tour. The opportunity arose after longtime AC/DC vocalist Brian Johnson was forced to step down due to serious hearing issues. Rose was officially announced as Johnson’s replacement in April of that year, taking on vocal duties for the remainder of the tour dates.
Rose’s first performance with AC/DC took place in Lisbon, Portugal, where he delivered a setlist that spanned the band’s entire catalog, from Bon Scott-era classics to Johnson’s iconic hits.
