As The Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh shot down rumors that he is recording with AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson after a viral photo surfaced, a user named Goulash on AC/DC Fans has claimed that Johnson himself took a hilarious shot at the bombshell rumor. Johnson is reportedly back in AC/DC, with a lot of talk of a new AC/DC album and tour with Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams also returning to the fold to join Angus Young and Stevie Young.

Hi folks,

I’ve just been speaking to Brian about the post from Joe Walsh about their time in the recording studio in London on Monday. I was saying how Blabbermouth etc had picked up the story and it had turned into them making sweet music together.

Brian was laughing his socks off and said “Fook me, Joe had gone along to have a bit of fun and I was only there as an observer. We didn’t record anything together!”

As you all know, Brian and Joe are old pals and a friend of Brian’s was in the studio and Joe had a couple of days off, between gigs. Joe asked Jonna what he was up to and when he said that he was going to pop along to see his pal in the studio, Joe said “Would they mind if I tagged along?” Brian said “I’m sure they wouldn’t mind” and Joe said “Do you think it’d be ok if I took my guitar?”

Joe went down and recorded some licks but Jonna didn’t join in.

What I’m saying is please don’t expect a Joe & Jonna collaboration. SFC
