Late Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell’s daughter Toni recently covered Pearl Jam’s “Black” on the Lollapalooza 2020 live stream. She dedicated the performance to her late father.

Ashley commented on Facebook, “I would love to hear Lily sing this. They are both very talented, but Lily’s voice— WHEW.”

Doug wrote, “WOW!!! She should make an album of Daddy’s tunes with some of his friends sitting in. You know who it is, but it’s a little different.”

Celia said, “Jenny DiCondina it would be fun if Lily and Toni did something together. Lily does have a pretty voice and Toni is getting better and better as she gets older and has more experience.”

Sonyia commented, “Great job, Toni! Please disregard all the hateful comments! So many miserable people in this world who don’t know when to keep their comments to themselves!”

Rohit chimed in, “So proud of her! Talented just like her father!! Loads of Love!!”

Lily Cornell Silver recently debuted her ‘Mind Wide Open’ podcast. She wrote a little over a week ago, “Episode 1 – Laura Lipsky. Today, in honor of my dad’s birthday, here is the first episode of Mind Wide Open. I created this interview series with the goal of helping to normalize and destigmatize conversations around mental health, and if it can make even one person feel seen and heard I will have accomplished my goal. Thank you ❤️.”

She wrote about the second episode, “Episode 2 – Dr. Marc Brackett

Thank you so much for all of the love and support on Mind Wide Open so far. Episodes will be uploaded every Monday 💙 For more information on guests, future episodes, and resources go to the website link in my bio. @marc.brackett #permissiontofeel.”
