Nick Marras, who created the new Chris Cornell Seattle MoPOP statue, has shared new photos of the statue featuring different facial expressions from the late Soundgarden singer.

These are always journeys to a destination. #chriscornell #nickmarrastudios #sculpture #bronze #soundgarden #audioslave #templeofthedog #mopopseattle #nickmarrasculptor #likeness #likenesssculpture.”

Marras also recently wrote on Instagram, “I love this photo taken in the rain – the beads of rain rolling off their son of Seattle – fitting . What an experience it was in Seattle at the @mopopseattle . Deeply rewarding . It was a great honor to work on this piece for @vickycornell and donated to the city of Seattle. Huge thanks to all that worked on it . My scanning model @casey__mcauley , Fred Kwan at alchymia Fx, @justin.raleigh and @fracturedfxinc , @vincentvandykefx , @carllyon_art , art tech ( installation), and of course the folks @art_bronze_inc . Can’t believe we pulled this off in 6 months !! ❤️❤️????????”

“What a moving ceremony . My favorite photo from the event was the Cornell children’s ( Lili, Toni, and Christoper Jr.) first look of the bronze figure . Only Vicky had seen it the day before the event . Precious . A huge thanks to @vickycornell and @mopopseattle for hosting . @Gibson guitar. Vicky got big love from Seattle ❤️❤️❤️#chriscornell #nickmarrastudios #mopop #seattle #likenesssculpture.”
