Chris Cornell’s mother-in-law Toni has posted on Instagram some allegations in response to an old interview of Soundgarden guitarist Kim Thayil saying the 2019 Chris Cornell tribute show had ‘bullsh*t’ as part of it. The comments have been edited for grammar and capitalization for clarity.
“That’s the love and respect Kim had! Here is his disgusting B.S.—Kim gave an interview saying all that and more. It was a clusterf… Kim? Even if it was, who would dare say that in an interview with his three kids listening? That’s pure evil. And the interview was just to make sure his children were deeply hurt.
They want me to correct the wording—(bleeding)? Why not? Let me correct it. According to them, it wasn’t a bleeding head, but matted hair. You guys, look at his head in the picture—with blood—and call it whatever you see. Paramedics said head trauma! I see blood on his head, and 5,000 fans have better videos and clearer pictures. Paramedics say head trauma, possible strangulation! But none of them want to speak, nor does anyone who was there.
They rehired Paul/Ski so he would stop talking. 🙊 Not to the police—they were forbidden. They were ordered to turn off their phones and go home… for over seven years. Well, the fans demand to know why??? Silence is complicit.

Why bring Susan when they promised Chris they would never celebrate, and not Vicky or baby Toni or Christopher Jr.? Well… all of this is coming out. As Diana’s kids want revenge, who knows what Chris Cornell’s three kids will want?”
