Bohemian Grove Leak Names Conan O’Brien, Bloomberg

An alleged membership list for the secretive Bohemian Grove retreat in Northern California has surfaced online, naming a mix of entertainment figures, business leaders, and political power-brokers. The list is said to cover more than 2,000 members in 2023 tied to the Bohemian Club, which operates a 2,700-acre campground in Sonoma County and hosts an annual two-week gathering.

The New York Post reported that the alleged roster includes Jimmy Buffett, former late-night host Conan O’Brien, billionaire and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Clint Eastwood, and ex-Google CEO Eric Schmidt, alongside figures such as Paul Pelosi and billionaire donor Charles Koch.

The report says independent journalist Mr. Daniel Boguslaw obtained the document after repeatedly contacting a Bay Area-based club member, and that a club member later confirmed the list’s authenticity to another outlet. The Bohemian Club is long known for its annual “Cremation of Care” ceremony and for organising members into different “camps,” described as similar to fraternities.

O’Brien’s appearance on the alleged list comes as the comedian and producer has remained in the news through unrelated legal and entertainment headlines, including recent Alternative Nation coverage in which Rob Reiner was ‘scared’ at Conan O’Brien’s party in reporting tied to the ongoing Reiner case.

The Bohemian Club, however, pushed back on the premise of a formal membership roll becoming public, with a spokesperson saying the group does not maintain lists of its members due to the organisation’s highly private nature. Even so, the emergence of a detailed roster is likely to intensify scrutiny around who attends the retreat and what influence, if any, is brokered behind closed doors.
