WWE wrestler and Fozzy frontman Chris Jericho recently interviewed Gary Spivack and Clay Busch of Danny Wimmer Presents, the promoters of Rock on the Range and Carolina Rebellion, on Talk is Jericho. During the interview, Jericho discussed Dave Grohl.

“I’ll tell you the one thing about Grohl, we went to the Clive Davis Grammy party last year. They weren’t selling any more liquor, but I paid the waiter 100 bucks to buy me and Grohl some shots. He said he was going to pay me 50 bucks, but then I never saw him again for the rest of the night. So Dave Grohl, you owe me 50 bucks if you’re listening to this. I want my money.”

Spivack also discussed being forced to cancel a Soundgarden performance in the past.

“Soundgarden couldn’t play, I’ll never forget. That was one of the saddest moments of my career. I’m a huge Soundgarden fan, personally and professionally. They pulled up in the black runner that we got for them. We were told we had to call the show because rain and wind. Rain we can handle, but that wind is sweeping and hitting water on stage. It’s one thing to have rain, but if there’s water on stage and Chris Cornell twists an ankle, or god forbid there’s electricity. So we had to pull, and seeing that black car turn around and fade away into the distance, while rain is pouring on me, sucks.”
