Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl released a promotional video with his mother Virginia for her new book From Cradle To Stage. In the video Grohl sarcastically talks about photos of himself in the book, including one of himself where he has a ‘full diaper.’
Dave quipped, “I just finished reading your book. What’s up with the picture of me in the cowboy hat and the red pants? I have like a full diaper in that photo Mom.”
Virginia responded, “Oh David, that’s my favorite photo in the whole book. I love that picture.”
Dave shot back, “It looks like I have pants full of mashed potatoes in that photo.”
He later said, “When I see the picture of me with a Scott Baio hair cut, that’s not conducive to my rock and roll rebel image.”
“I just feel like I’m the only one in the book with a full diaper.”
Virginia said, “Well David, you are the only one in the book with a full diaper. I’ve got to give you that.”
“I didn’t plan to write a chapter about the full diaper, or discuss it in anyway.”
Dave joked that he’d title the next Foo Fighters record and his own autobiography Full Diaper.
