Dave Grohl and Jordyn Blum Step Out Together at Clive Davis Pre-Grammys Gala

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl and his wife, Jordyn Blum, made a rare public appearance together at a pre-Grammys event in Los Angeles on Saturday, January 31, as the couple continue to keep a low profile following Grohl’s 2024 announcement that he had welcomed a child outside their marriage. The pair arrived on the red carpet alongside their daughter Violet, turning the outing into a family moment during Grammys weekend.

At the gala, Us Weekly reported that Grohl attended Clive Davis’ Pre-Grammy Gala and Salute to Industry Icons, an event honouring music executives Avery Lipman and Monte Lipman.

Grohl, 57, wore a black suit with a matching turtleneck and clear-framed glasses, while Ms Blum, 49, appeared in an emerald one-shoulder gown with a thigh-high slit, paired with diamond drop earrings and a sleek bun. Their 19-year-old daughter Violet wore a red corset-style blazer and coordinating maxi skirt for the evening.

The appearance followed the family’s outing the previous night at the MusiCares Person of the Year ceremony, where Grohl also performed as part of the tribute programme. The Grammys weekend events marked a visible return to the spotlight for the couple after months of limited public activity.

Grohl and Ms Blum have been seen together publicly in past years, including in moments such as when Grohl took a public stand alongside his wife during a separate high-profile appearance, but this red-carpet event carried added scrutiny given the earlier personal revelations.

Grohl previously said in a September 2024 statement that he planned to be “a loving and supportive parent” to his new daughter and that he was working to rebuild trust with his wife and children. The couple, who began dating in 2001 and married in 2003, share three daughters.
