Dee Snider recently pushed back against claims that he’s profiting from upcoming Twisted Sister live dates set to feature Sebastian Bach on vocals, saying he isn’t seeking any payment tied to the performances. The comments come as fans speculate about how the band’s planned shows will be structured with Bach stepping in for select appearances.

Addressing the chatter directly X, Snider said he wasn’t asking for compensation connected to the Bach-fronted shows. Snider added that he believed his decision to step away had already impacted the group financially, framing his stance as an effort not to create additional strain on the band.

“Nope. Not asking for anything,” Snider said. “I know I hurt the band financially as it is.”

Snider also pointed to physical limitations as the core reason he can’t continue with the demands of live performance, noting that while he can still sing, his body can no longer handle the full-on stage experience he associates with Twisted Sister.

“I still can sing. But love I gotta rock too,” he continued. “Sadly my body just can’t handle it anymore. (Well, that sucks!)”

His message positioned the Bach move as a practical solution rather than a business arrangement built around his involvement.

The discussion around Snider’s health has been ongoing, including prior reports that he cancelled touring commitments after a heart-related issue, underscoring why he has been cautious about returning to the road.

With Bach slated to handle vocals for a limited run, the band appears to be aiming to keep live plans moving while accommodating Snider’s health reality. For fans, Snider’s statement clarifies that the arrangement is meant to preserve the legacy of the group’s shows without turning his absence into a financial dispute.
