Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder has announced a digital streaming version of his Ohana Festival for 2020, as the Doheny State Beach festival that usually takes place in Dana Point, CA had to be canceled due to the worldwide pandemic. Vedder will stream classic performances including one of his own and others from Mudhoney, Incubus, The Strokes, and many more.

New performances will include Deaf Charlie featuring Pearl Jam bassist Jeff Ament and John Wicks, along with former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer’s solo act Pluralone. Klinghoffer was set to open for Pearl Jam on their spring 2020 North American tour in support of Gigaton.

The Ohana Festival 2020 will stream on September 26th and 27th at 5PM PST, and will be streaming free for 24 hours on YouTube. Pearl Jam are expected to tour in 2021 if concerts are allowed to resume, and they are expected to headline the Ohana Festival for the first time in 2021, as they were supposed to play this year with Kings of Leon.

Josh Klinghoffer released his debut Pluralone album To Be One With You last year just prior to his Red Hot Chili Peppers firing, and he will soon release I Don’t Feel Well, featuring a former Pearl Jam drummer.
