Endless Neon sent us the following story and video about Eddie Vedder performing with an 80’s cover band on the 27th anniversary of the release of Ten on Monday:

80’s cover band Flashback Heart Attack got a special surprise when Pearl Jam singer Eddie Vedder decided to join them on stage. He talked to them on a break and decided to sing The Clash hit “Should I Stay” to hundreds of the top surfers in the world. Later Eddie and friend Pro Surfer Kelly Slater join the band singing backing vocals on Billy Idols “Rebel Yell” a good time was had and made the bands year.

Notable because this week is the 27th anniversary of the Pearl Jam record “10”

Flashback Heart Attack will be back at Kelly Slaters Surf Ranch Lemoore Sept 7th playing the WSL Surf Ranch Pro with Blink – 182

Pearl Jam will perform at Fenway Park in Boston in a few days to resume their Away Shows tour.
