Eddie Vedder performed at the Vax Live concert taping yesterday at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles. It will air on May 8th. Vedder said the concert was the first “taste of the life we’ve all been missing” for more than a year.

“This is a feeling we have not had in some time. There’s a microphone, a crowd. It feels good.”

Vedder performed “Corduroy” with former Red Hot Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer.

Luckytwn1 posted on the Ten Club board, “Ed was very good. The version of Patriot, in particular, was outstanding. Since most of the show was a TV production and not a real concert, it wasn’t until the last 45 minutes when it really felt like concerts were back. The Foo Fighters had that place rocking big time. Brian Johnson on Back in Black, just amazing. Can’t imagine anyone left that venue without a smile on their face.”

Got The Bottle responded, “I’LL SECOND THAT! It was kinda bizarre and I was really bummed that H.E.R. wasn’t inside but I get it… her opening will be cool. Foos made me jump and dance and feel that old feeling of happy again!”

This was Vedder’s first live performance in a couple of years.
