Eddie Vedder Reveals Brother Chris ‘Died In Accident’

At Pearl Jam’s show in San Diego earlier this week, Eddie Vedder discussed the tragic death of his brother Chris. Sea posted a recap and setlist of the show on the Ten Club board, including the Chris Mueller story.

(Ed stops to talk about the drummers recently lost and the one that hit the band the hardest being Taylor Hawkins who was close friends with Matt. Ed says all the lights here wouldn’t be as bright as what shined from Taylor and that this gives Ed an opportunity to let Matt know how much they appreciate him)

(After mentioning a fan request to play the next song Ed talks about his brother Chris who worked at the venue as a rigger. He tells a story about being able to see his brother’s silhouette up in the rafters when they played here last time. Chris died in an accident. He talks about how much he loved his brother and how he must have been loved here because they put a plaque up in the rafters to commemorate Chris. “This is for Chris Mueller”
