Evan Stanley and Nick Simmons, sons of KISS founders Paul Stanley and Gene Simmons, respectively, have announced the first-ever live dates for their collaborative project Stanley Simmons, with a short California run scheduled for early May.

Stanley Simmons will play four shows—May 4 in San Diego, May 6 in Santa Ana, May 10 in Morro Bay, and May 13 in Ventura—and tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. PDT.

The duo recently shared a music video directed by Mitchell Richmond for their second single “Dancing While The World Is Ending,” and they have described the partnership as something that emerged unexpectedly after an impromptu Instagram reel in December 2024 pushed them into recording together for the first time.

Paul Stanley has addressed the inevitable “nepotism” chatter around the act, saying that strong songs and performances are ultimately what matters, a theme that has also come up as he defended Gene Simmons’ son from attacks as the project gained attention online.

Early demos reportedly drew interest from producer Rob Cavallo, who signed on to produce the pair’s debut full-length album and also stepped into a management role. With their first live dates now set, the May run should offer the first public look at how the harmonies and Americana-leaning approach translate to the stage.
