We recently reported that Foo Fighters were working on a mysterious new football themed video, and they now have some very famous special guests for the project.

Dave Grohl filmed former NFL star and current Good Morning America co-host Michael Stranhan and former NFL player, current Fox NFL Sunday co-host Terry Bradshaw, and Fox NFL Sunday host Curt Menefee for a new football themed Foo Fighters video that appears to be tied into the 2019 Super Bowl.

Curt Menefee tweeted on Monday, “Ok…any guesses as to why @foofighters Dave Grohl is directing Terry, @michaelstrahan and me..in these outfits??? Take a stab at it…”

Foo Fighters shot footage for the video in Los Angeles around 10 days ago, with Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins being photographed on the set. It is the band’s first known new release for 2019. Makeup artist Nicole Wittman posted a photo with Grohl featuring the caption: “Working.” In the photo, Grohl is wearing glasses taped together and a football jersey. In other photos, Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins are wearing matching black t-shirts. The football jersey has led to some fans speculating that there could be a football or Super Bowl theme to the video since Foo Fighters are playing a show on Super Bowl weekend in February.

John Paul Madrono wrote on Instagram, “Taking a picture with one of rock’s legends, Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters.”

“johnpaulmedrano@selena_osullivan background for a music video, managed to get a picture with him some time after wrap.”

Gerardo Vitale wrote on Instagram, “We are loving and living our dreams. Today I had the opportunity to meet Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins from the @foofighters. These guys are the real deal.”
