Foo Fighters shot a new music video in Los Angeles earlier this week, with Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins being photographed on the set. It is the band’s first known new release for 2019. Makeup artist Nicole Wittman posted a photo with Grohl featuring the caption: “Working.” In the photo, Grohl is wearing glasses taped together and a football jersey. In other photos, Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins are wearing matching black t-shirts. The football jersey has led to some fans speculating that there could be a football or Super Bowl theme to the video since Foo Fighters are playing a show on Super Bowl weekend in February.

John Paul Madrono wrote on Instagram, “Taking a picture with one of rock’s legends, Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters.”

“johnpaulmedrano@selena_osullivan background for a music video, managed to get a picture with him some time after wrap.”

Gerardo Vitale wrote on Instagram, “We are loving and living our dreams. Today I had the opportunity to meet Dave Grohl and Taylor Hawkins from the @foofighters. These guys are the real deal.”

The Concrete and Gold touring cycle appears to be over and there isn’t a new single out. “The Line” was the final single released in May, and it had no video. It would seem very late in the game to put out a video for that in 2019, so this could be a shoot for a new song. Foo Fighters will tour in Europe next summer.
