Foo Fighters 2026 Presale Sparks Ticketmaster Backlash

Foo Fighters’ early 2026 tour ticket presale drew a fresh wave of complaints on Tuesday as fans said they ran into glitches, long virtual queues and suspected bot activity while trying to secure seats. The criticism focused on Ticketmaster’s handling of the presale process and how quickly tickets appeared to be available on resale sites.

One attendee alleged that a Ticketmaster issue during the Total Mortgage Arena presale forced them into selecting a six-ticket purchase and prevented them from buying the four they wanted, while they also questioned what queue placement is meant to accomplish if tickets are quickly listed for resale, Everybody’s Uncle Dave wrote.

Separate posts circulating during the presale claimed the demand was extreme, with one account alleging “over 400,000” people were in the queue for Foo Fighters tickets and arguing that Ticketmaster “can not stop the queue bots.” Those types of claims have become a recurring flashpoint during major on-sales, as frustrated buyers point to automated purchasing and resale listings as evidence that genuine fans are being crowded out.

While Ticketmaster has not publicly responded in the posts cited, the complaints show how presale ticket limits, queue systems, and error handling can destroy fan trust. For Foo Fighters, the backlash arrives at a time when the band remains under intense scrutiny, after Josh Freese’s firing and Dave Grohl’s affair.

With more public on-sales and additional presales likely to follow, fans will be watching closely for changes in queue behaviour and purchase rules, as well as any official response to the allegations of forced ticket quantities and bot-driven demand.
