Fox News host Greg Gutfeld has a history of ripping the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and he took another shot at them on The Five on Tuesday.

In the ‘Greg’s Worst Band in the World News’ segment, Gutfeld joked that there was scientific proof that the Chili Peppers are the worst band in the world.

“Of course I’m talking about the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the worst band in the world. Anyways, this guy Duncan Robb thought he had just purchased tickets to the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He didn’t really look close enough at the ticket, it’s the Red Hot Chili Pipers, which is a famous bagpipe tribute band.

You can see his texts when he realizes they’re a bagpipe band, haha. Actually they’re a bagpipe cover band. This guy right now should be overjoyed because bagpipes beat aging shirtless dudes jumping up and down on stage by jumping beans. I say bagpipes are far superior. This guy is lucky, he should be grateful.”

Co-host Jesse Watters questioned Gutfeld’s assessment of the Chili Peppers.

Gutfeld shot back, “It’s science. There were studies on this in the early 90’s that documented that the Red Hot Chili Peppers are the worst band in the world. There are thousands of studies, world data.”
