Governor Gavin Newsom TROLLS Kid Rock

It has officially been confirmed that Bad Bunny will be performing at the Super Bowl LX halftime show in Santa Clara, CA. Following the announcement, MAGA supporters took aim at the Puerto Rican rapper and singer, who has been an outspoken opponent of President Donald Trump, his administration, and his policies.

In place of Bad Bunny, several commentators on the right have instead suggested Kid Rock, an avid Trump supporter.

“Kid Rock and Jason Aldean would have made a great Super Bowl Halftime show. Bad Bunny will just further divide the American people. A missed opportunity from the NFL to bring people together and tone down the rhetoric,” MAGA author Nick Adams wrote on Twitter/X.

In response to Adams, California Governor Gavin Newsom – who has been parodying Trump’s Truth Social posts with Trump-like tweets – joked that Kid Rock is banned from performing in California.
“Wrong. Kid Rock has been INDEFINITELY SUSPENDED from performing in California and as such he cannot perform at Super Bowl LX!!!” Newsom wrote.

Newsom has been trolling Rock on Twitter/X for several months. On Sept. 20th, in response to Jimmy Kimmel’s suspension, the governor wrote in another Trump-esque tweet: “BECAUSE OF HIS HORRIFIC MUSIC, CALIFORNIA WILL INDEFINITELY SUSPEND KID ROCK FROM PERFORMING IN THE GOLDEN STATE. YOU’RE WELCOME! – GCN.”
