GREEN DAY drummer TRÉ COOL responds to CHARLI XCX’s “Miss Should Be Headliner” with a sash of his own reading “ACTUAL HEADLINER.”

After her performance at Coachella weekend one (on April 12th), Charli XCX ruffled some feathers when she shared a photo of herself wearing a “Miss Should Be Headliner” sash. Fans took it as Charli throwing shade at Green Day, who headlined both Saturdays at Coachella weekend one and two. Charli’s set on both weekends came just before Green Day’s.

Now, in response to Charli’s sash, drummer Tré Cool sported a sash of his own.

In a photo taken and shared by his wife before Green Day’s performance on Saturday April 19th, Cool was seen wearing a homemade sash reading “Actual Headliner,” jokingly taking a jab at Charli.

It wasn’t long before Charli saw and responded to Cool’s photo, re-sharing it with the caption “obsessed.”
With the singer seemingly approving of Cool’s sash, it looks like if there was any beef between her and Green Day it has officially been squashed.

Frontman Billie Joe Armstrong also addressed the apparent “feud” when he took the stage wearing a “Brat” hat, in reference to Charli’s popular album of the same name.
