Original Guns N’ Roses drummer Steven Adler appeared on Jonesy’s Jukebox with Steve Jones yesterday, and he revealed that he believes Jimi Hendrix was reincarnated as Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain.

Adler said, “But then again, Jimi Hendrix turned into Kurt Cobain, so we’ll never know after that. Well let’s see who Michael Jackson turns into, I guarantee you it’s going to be a pretty little blonde girl.”

Jones asked, “Is it a lizard?”

Adler responded, “No, it’s going to be a blonde little girl, he’s going to be reincarnated, like Jimi Hendrix was reincarnated into Kurt Cobain.”

Jones said, “I want some of what you’ve got.”

Adler hit back, “I’ve got reality. Listen to those songs, who else played guitar or wrote music like that? I fell in love with Nirvana when I first heard the lyrics, which I still think are brilliant, when he sang: ‘You’re so ugly, but that’s okay because I’m ugly too.’

I was like, you’re a purple genius, purple brilliant. When I say purple, it’s the F word, I can’t say it on this show. So this is purple awesome.”

“Can I spell f-u-c-k? Well, I just did.”

Jimi Hendrix died on September 18, 1970 at 27 years old. Kurt Cobain was born on February 20, 1967, and he committed suicide on April 5, 1994.
