Josh Freese hurts finger at Nine Inch Nails concert

Nine Inch Nails are wrapping up their North American tour tonight in Los Angeles, and drummer Josh Freese revealed he hurt his finger. Freese’s ‘battle wound’ came after the first show in LA, but won’t affect tonight’s performance.

Freese said, “Tonight’s the last show of the Nine Inch Nails “Peel It Back” tour. Incredible shows, top tier crew, management, etc.

And the band…well, like I’ve said before, this is one of the few situations where I can walk off stage every night feeling confident and satisfied. It’s not always like that, so it’s nice when it happens. Also, thanks to everyone for the love and support I’ve felt while re-entering the NIN world.

Even after my departure back in 2009 they always remained an important part of my extended musical family so it’s been a really nice homecoming for me. And speaking of “Peel It Back” go ahead and zoom in on that battle wound from last night’s show if you’ve got the stomach (it’s not that bad.) #nineinchnails #nin.”

Freese rejoined Nine Inch Nails after his firing from Foo Fighters earlier this year, as NIN’s then drummer Ilan Rubin ironically enough was hired to replace Freese in Foo Fighters as the band’s new drummer.
