Late Soundgarden and Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell’s daughters Lily and Toni paid tribute to their later father on Father’s Day on Sunday.

Toni Cornell wrote on Instagram, “No other love in the world will ever be like yours. I would choose you as my daddy over and over again. You gave me the greatest childhood memories and love that will last forever. I miss you💔#happyfathersday #chriscornell #bestdadever.”

The Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards’ daughter Theodora was stunned by the photo, commenting, “The way you holding his face xxx.”

Former Audioslave and Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello commented, “❤️.”

Lily Cornell Silver posted a photo of Chris holding her as a baby at a beach, and also shared a photo of herself flying, writing, “In the clouds with Papa for Father’s Day. Love to everyone whose hearts hurt today.”

Lily wrote on Father’s Day in 2017 just a month after Chris’ death:

Papa,

A couple summers ago we were biking around Central Park and you told me that there aren’t many truly good people in the world, but that I was one of the few. You always had such firm confidence and pride in what I did, and your warmth and love inspired me to do my best. Now more than ever, I want to live my life to help others as you did. I want to continue to make you proud. Toni, C and I promise to survive, persevere and thrive, as we’ve always done. I’m so proud to be your baby, I love you more than words can say and I will miss you forever.

Your ladybug,
Lily
