Chris Cornell Jr. and Frances Bean Cobain both celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday with their families. Cornell Jr. was photographed in a pool watching football, while Frances Bean, the daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love, filmed a video for fans.

Cobain said, “Hi, I wanted to take a minute to tell you guys what I’m thankful for. I’m actually not in America right now, I’m in Scotland, where they don’t celebrate Thanksgiving, but it’s still Thanksgiving. I’m thankful for a lot of things. I’m thankful for animals, and empathy, and good will, and my family, and my friends, my health. The willingness to create the art I want to see in the world. Mostly though, I am thankful to be alive. I am thankful for the want to coexist with myself in this life and to learn and to grow, and to be and do better.”

Chris Cornell Jr. recently starred in his late father’s new “When Bad Does Good” music video. Cornell Jr. played a younger version of his Dad, riding on a bike around Seattle delivering newspapers. Frances Bean Cobain is currently writing new music. Kurt Cobain died by suicide in 1994, while Chris Cornell died by suicide in 2017.
