In the first seemingly official confirmation that Pearl Jam will indeed tour Europe in 2018 outside of internet whispers, Live Nation ES have started to upload photos that appear to be building up to the announcement of a show in Barcelona.

One photo sees jam with ‘Barcelona’ written on it, while the other is a Mookie Blaylock card with Barcelona written on it. For those living under a rock, Pearl Jam’s original name was Mookie Blaylock.

In the last week or so two different lists of rumored Pearl Jam summer 2018 European tour dates have surfaced on message boards.

The first list:

12.06- Amsterdam ziggo dome
14.06 – Amsterdam ziggo dome
16.06 – Pinkpop
18.06 – London O2 arena
20.06 – London O2 arena

6.07 – Berlin waldbühne
8.07 – Werchter
10.07 – Barcelona

14.07 – Lisbon alive fest

The second list:

13.06 ~ Amsterdam Ziggo
14.06 ~ Amsterdam Ziggo
16.06 ~ Pinkpop
18.06 ~ London O2
19.06 ~ London O2

7.07 ~ Werchter
9.07 ~ Barcelona St. Jordi
10.07 ~ Barcelona St. Jordi
12.07 ~ Madrid (TBD)
14.07 ~ Lisbon NOS Festival

While both lists could be entirely untrue as they are message board rumors, the time frame and many of the cities and festivals have been heavily rumored by fans with sources inside the Pearl Jam organization, including shows at the Ziggo Dome, Pinkpop, and in Spain. So many of the cities should be expected to be on the list if and when Pearl Jam announce their summer 2018 European tour.

Ticketmaster actually posted a photo promoting a Barcelona show before later removing it, seemingly leaking that Pearl Jam will play there next summer. Pearl Jam have already confirmed performances at Lollapalooza Chile, Argentina, and Brasil in March 2018. Those will be the band’s first tour dates in nearly two years.
