Maynard James Keenan Reacts To Tool Fan Demanding ‘More Music And Less Wine’

A fan recently tweeted Tool and A Perfect Circle frontman Maynard James Keenan: “#Aperfectcircle en #KnotfestMexico @mjkeenan yesterday i remembered why you are my music hero.Make more music and a bit less of wine, dude!”

Keenan responded, “Been making a lot of music. More than most. You just need to take a minute & listen. Since ‘91 5x EPs, 10x LPs, 10x Live & Remix LPs + DVDs.”

A Perfect Circle have been announced as one of the headline acts for next year’s Be Prog! My Friend festival.

“With A Perfect Circle’s new album out in 2018 it is the ideal time for them to play at Be Prog! My Friend, where we cannot wait to see them live,” the festival organisers told Prog. “Really, we could not be more excited with having them as our biggest ever headliner. You cannot miss this edition of the festival. Tickets are going to sell fast!”

A Perfect Circle also announced two UK dates at Manchester O2 Apollo on June 12 and London O2 Academy Brixton on June 13. These are the band’s first 2018 dates. The band are set to release a new album next year.
