Maynard James Keenan takes care of his work in a quick and efficient manner according to his Tool bandmate Adam Jones. Jones had previously reported that Keenan would record his vocals with the band in March, and he is now telling fans that the legendary singer will spend three weeks in the studio recording his vocals.

Jones first posted a KISS themed photo with the caption, “#andPartyEveryday ??@korinfaught (left) with the Ladies flying somewhere on the other side of the earth ? #KissFacePack #kiss.”

He then told fans in a comment, “March to April. We have MJK for 3 weeks in March ??????.”

A fan tweeted Maynard James Keenan yesterday saying, “Love it. Thank you Maynard! Hahaha. Don’t forget puscifer sometime down the road!”

Keenan responded, “Already on it.”

Another fan tweeted, “My daughter is dying for new music! #toolarmy #thirdeye.”

Keenan responded, “Go write some.”

Maynard tweeted a major Tool update a few days ago, “Started getting music files from the boys w the word FINAL in the title a few months ago after 11 years of begging. That in theory means the tracks wont change out from under me while I’m trying to write stories and melodies to them. In theory. Still waiting for the FINAL on 1 but way ahead. Words & Melodies 100% DONE on all but 1.

Someday we’ll track them. Long way from the finish line, but at least we’re closer. Meanwhile new @aperfectcircle release on 4/20. #whileyouwerewhiningiwasworking #theresyourupdate #eattheelephant #aperfectcircle2018”
