After calls for a reunion tour following last year’s standout performances at Coachella, No Doubt is reuniting for a residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere, with six shows slated for 2026. However, last week, guitarist Tom Dumont was asked about any plans for 30th anniversary of No Doubt, and he likely was lying to hide No Doubt’s secret plans.
No Doubt guitarist spoke about anniversary
On the Orange Coast podcast recorded a week ago, Dumont said that he wished there were plans, but he couldn’t say there were. He said, as transcribed by Alternative Nation, “I wish I could say there’s something coming, but I don’t at the moment. I don’t see anything coming. But you know, the thing I love about anniversaries is whether it’s our birthdays, wedding, anniversaries, album anniversaries it’s just a time, it’s a moment to remember and reflect.”
He added, “And I think nostalgia is kind of a beautiful thing sitting here at this age. It’s good to enjoy good memories. And the world has a lot of chaos right now, and in all of our lives, there’s ups and downs. Life is like a roller coaster. And somehow when we look back on things like the music we loved or people we loved, we look we tend to forget a lot of the bad things. I think it’s kind of human nature to remember the good stuff. And and that’s what, you know, I that’s what I love about the 30th anniversary coming up.”
No Doubt are reuniting in 2026
The group, consisting of Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont and Adrian Young, will head over to Sin City for what’s being billed as a six-night limited engagement on May 6th, 8th, 9th, 13th, 15th and 16th.
“The opportunity to create a show at Sphere excites me in a new way,” says Stefani in a statement.
“The venue is unique and modern and it opens up a whole new visual palette for us to be creative. Doing it with No Doubt feels like going back in time to relive our history, while also creating something new in a way we never could have imagined.”
“When we are on stage together playing these songs we feel the magic,” says Dumont. “We are stoked to play together again for our fans, to celebrate their years of love and support.”
Young added, “For anyone who has ever cared or is curious about a No Doubt live concert, this is a special opportunity for that electric band/fan energy exchange in a very unique venue!”
Kanal also notes, “There is a beautiful energy that happens when we play together, an electricity I have felt through all of our years. To be able to leave it all on the table each night and take our fans on the insane journey that is Sphere is beyond our wildest dreams.”
No Doubt delivered one of the standout performances at Coachella 2024, marking their first appearance together since 2015. Following their Coachella shows, the group performed at the FireAid benefit concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles earlier this January.
