Ozzy Osbourne posted a last photo the day before he died showing his POV backstage at Black Sabbath’s last show.

Earlier this month on July 5th, Ozzy Osbourne took the stage for the last time at “Back to the Beginning.” Along with Ozzy and Black Sabbath, the event also featured performances by dozens of other bands and musicians – including rising star Yungblud.

After the news broke of Ozzy’s death on Tuesday (July 22nd), Yungblud took to Instagram to pay tribute to the legendary musician, writing:

“I didn’t think you would leave so soon the last time we met you were so full of life and your laugh filled up the room.  But as it is written with legends, they seem to know the things that we don’t. I will never forget you – you will be in every single note I sing and with me every single time I walk on stage. Your cross around my neck is the most precious thing I own.

“You asked me once if there was anything you could do for me and as I said then and as I will say now for all of us the music was enough. You took us on your adventure – an adventure that started it all.

“I am truly heartbroken. You were the greatest of all time.”

Yungblud made headlines following his set at “Back to the Beginning” after a video of him gifting Ozzy a custom made cross necklace before the show went viral. In the video, Yungblud mentions how the Black Sabbath singer had previously gifted him a cross, and how he wanted to return the favor.
