Paul McCartney spoiled his surprise appearance at Foo Fighters’ Taylor Hawkins tribute show in a new leaked video, which sounds like it could feature Dave Grohl on drums.

Supergrass said about the Taylor Hawkins tribute show on the official website ahead of the London show tomorrow, “We are deeply honoured to have been asked to be part of the celebration and remembrance of our great friend and musical brother Taylor.

We have had so many amazing memories over the years touring with Taylor and the rest of the Foo Fighters, and have had plenty of unforgettable times, including riding huge rickety rollercoasters in America on our days off, talking at length about Dennis Wilsons Pacific Ocean Blue album (which he was obsessed with) and lots of hilarious moments spent listening to him trying to master the Ian Dury Cockney accent.

We always saw Taylor as a kindred spirit, he supported and believed in us which felt really special. If you walked into a room and Taylor was there, you would always be greeted with a cheerful smile, always upbeat, enthusiastic and encouraging…he was such a great guy to be around. A real one off and we will miss him very much.”
