Mike McCready of Pearl Jam shared his thoughts on Chris Cornell’s untimely passing with Nik Carter and Lori Majewski of Feedback.

“With Chris, I’m still reeling from that. It was a terrible tragedy, I really loved him like a brother. He was really instrumental in getting me to play on his record, he allowed me to play on the Temple of the Dog record, and let me take chances when he didn’t have to do that. He was always that way with me.

I didn’t know him that well, but in terms of playing music, when we got to do the Temple tour, that was just a dream come true for me. So having all that, the rug pulled out, I feel terrible for his kids and his family. It’s awful, and I miss him dearly.”
