Speculation is heating up online that Radiohead may have a new album on the way. The rumors began circulating after an account on X called ‘Has It Leaked’ posted about the band’s potential return with fresh material, stating a new album is coming.

Radiohead dropping new album?

When asked about the reliability of the claim, one fan posed the question: “On a scale of 1 to reputable, how reputable is this account?” Another fan responded by pointing out that the same source correctly leaked details of the new Gorillaz album weeks before its official announcement.

While Radiohead themselves have not confirmed any plans, the band’s dedicated fan base has been quick to dissect the chatter, fueling excitement about the possibility of their first studio album since 2016’s A Moon Shaped Pool.

Thom Yorke also recently addressed rumours of a new Radiohead music album and a reunion in the studio for the band.

The Oxford band, which is fronted by Thom Yorke, recently announced plans for a first tour in seven years. Playing 20 shows in five European cities, the group will perform at London’s O2 on November 21st, 22nd, 24th and 25th.

Thom Yorke addresses rumors

In a recent interview with Wallpaper, Thom Yorke denied the rumours and responded: “Not on the cards from where I’m sitting.

“I have no idea.”

The band met at Abingdon School in the mid-80s and went on to make bestselling albums, including The Bends and OK Computer.

Drummer Philip Selway said: “Last year, we got together to rehearse, just for the hell of it.

“After a seven-year pause, it felt really good to play the songs again and reconnect with a musical identity that has become lodged deep inside all five of us. It also made us want to play some shows together, so we hope you can make it to one of the upcoming dates.”

Well, it doesn’t seem as though Radiohead will head back to the studio to record new music.

The band is set to play at the Movistar Arena in Madrid, Spain, on November 4th, 5th, 7th, and 8th, and the Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy, on November 14th, 15th, 17th, and 18th, before their dates in London.

They will then perform at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, Denmark, on December 1st, 2nd, 4th, and 5th, and the Uber Arena in Berlin, Germany, on December 8th, 9th, 11th, and 12th.
