Tom Morello has posted a new photo mocking Kid Rock, Elon Musk, Dana White, and President Trump, asking fans to ‘name this supergroup.’ Morello’s post invites fans to mock the four.

Tom Morello and Kid Rock have long stood on opposite ends of America’s political spectrum, each using their musical platform to broadcast their beliefs. Morello, famed guitarist for Rage Against the Machine and Audioslave, has built his career on left-wing activism. He frequently advocates for workers’ rights, social justice, and anti-corporate causes, and is a vocal supporter of unions and progressive politicians. Morello’s political views are woven into his lyrics and public statements, and he’s known for calling out what he sees as economic inequality and systemic injustice. He has also publicly criticized politicians across party lines whom he feels don’t align with his ideals.

In sharp contrast, Kid Rock—whose career began in hip hop and rock before moving into country—has embraced right-leaning, populist politics. He’s campaigned for Republican candidates, spoken out against “cancel culture,” and regularly voices support for former President Donald Trump. Kid Rock’s outspoken patriotism and criticism of mainstream media have made him a favorite among conservative audiences.

Despite their differences, both artists have emphasized the importance of free speech and authenticity. Their public statements continue to generate passionate debate among fans, highlighting the cultural divide in America’s music scene and beyond.
