During Red Hot Chili Peppers’ show at Unipol Arena in Bologna, Italy on Saturday night, Chili Peppers guitarist Josh Klinghoffer covered Radiohead’s song “Spectre.”

When interviewed by StingRay recently, Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith seemed open to a tour with Radiohead. “The last record I bought, I think I got Radiohead’s new album.”

“We were shooting a video in Brooklyn, and they were at Madison Square Garden both nights, and of course we couldn’t go there. They [were] playing Lollapalooza in Chicago, then we [were] playing [the next night].”

The interviewer suggested the bands do a ‘battle of the bands’ type series of shows. Smith then said, ‘Or together,’ hinting at an openness to work with Radiohead.
