Scott Weiland Discusses Last Kiss & Tattoo In Tragic Final Interview

102.1 The Edge have published the final interview with former Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver frontman Scott Weiland, conducted before his last concert in Toronto on Tuesday, and Alternative Nation has transcribed quotes. Weiland died on last night night on his tour bus.

First concert: “Beatlemania at 12.”

First and last tattoo: “The first one I got was a cross with a rose through it, I covered that up, and got something tribal over the top of it. The last one I got was a Japanese koi fish.”

Final kiss: “When my wife was out to visit me, which was about a week ago.”

Final vacation: I went to Mexico with my wife for my honeymoon.

Final gift:
A painting that my wife painted for me.

Scott Weiland’s manager released a statement on his death last night:

Scott Weiland, best known as the lead singer for Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver, passed away in his sleep while on a tour stop in Bloomington, Minnesota, with his band The Wildabouts. At this time we ask that the privacy of Scott’s family be respected.
