Taylor Swift’s “The Life of a Showgirl” era is in full swing, and the pop superstar recently appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to discuss it. They covered a lot of topics, including her new album, her engagement announcement, and Selena Gomez’s wedding. Additionally, Swift took a moment to praise Jonny Greenwood’s score for “One Battle After Another.”
Taylor Swift likes Jonny Greenwood
The host had the singer play a quick game called the Game Of Lasts. He asked her about the last movie she saw, and she replied ‘One Battle After Another’. Fallon brought up the score and Swift said, “The fact that when you hear that theme each time, it makes you feel something different every single time. And we are so lucky to be alive at the same time as Paul Thomas Anderson.”
While Taylor Swift is a fan of Greenwood, Yungblud has revealed that he is a huge Taylor Swift fan and he doesn’t care who knows it. Yungblud has emerged as one of the new faces of rock and roll after being mentored by Aerosmith and the late Ozzy Osbourne.
“I f***ing love Taylor Swift, it’s weird,” Yungblud, 28, said during a Monday, October 6, appearance on the “Club Random” podcast. “I love Taylor Swift.”
Podcast host Bill Maher agreed with Yungblud and praised the Life of a Showgirl musician as a “brilliant businesswoman” and revealing that he listened to her on fiancé Travis Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
“She seemed genuine, funny, cool to hang out with, which I never thought she wasn’t,” Maher, said. “I just don’t get the music and I never will.”
In response Yungblud began singing “Love Story,” and revealed that his two younger sisters are huge fans of Swift’s 2012 record, Red.
“Anytime that comes on, it takes me back to a time and I was in my mom’s car with my sisters and I actually f***ing love it,” Yungblud continued.
The “Zombie” singer then explained that he hears “lads in the pub” saying they “don’t f*** with” Swift, which he strongly disagrees with.
“I like f***ing Taylor Swift,” Yungblud added.
