Ted Nugent’s wife Shemane Nugent shared her controversial views on the transgender ban in women’s sports in her Faith and Freedom with Shemane podcast. Many fans disagreed with her opinions.

“Trump saved women’s sports. He declared there are only two genders and shut down taxpayer-funded gender transitions for minors.”

“He secured the border, deployed troops, ramped up deportations, and stopped violent [undocumented] from flooding in. He’s not fighting alone. He just tapped Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to head Health and Human Services. They’re making America healthy again.”

Ted Nugent previously ripped Kansas Governor Laura Kelly for vetoing a bill restricting transgender people from using certain bathrooms and joining sports teams. Kansas Senate President Ty Masterson pushed to override the veto, and the bill became law. Nugent said on his Nightly Nuge show:

“Well, how about a big giant ‘duh’ that here it is in 2023, and in the United States of America, there exists an argument about whether boys should be able to go into the women’s locker room and into the bathroom, the ultimate manifestation of a suicidal culture,” the rocker said of Masterson’s move.

Nugent added, “You have got to be kidding me! Anybody with a conscience, anybody with any honesty, anybody with truth, logic, and Common Sense dictating their American dream and quality of life, and real Justice knows that it is cruel.” He called it ‘demonic.’
