Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello, who often makes his political opinions known has taken a shot at Joe Biden and Donald Trump.
Morello previously made an Instagram post with a poem about communists, socialists, and Jewish people being targeted, referencing concentration camps, after recent actions by President Trump’s administration, including the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel by ABC for his remarks about Charlie Kirk and reports of possible FCC pressure.
Tom Morello called out Biden and Trump
Morello posted a message that calls out Biden and Trump after Jimmy Kimmel’s cancellation. He put up a fan opinion on his Instagram story section. He feels Joe Biden paved the way for Trump to “run” for what’s happening around. Check it out below:
He also dropped another Instagram story in which he compared Biden to Joseph Goebells,
which you can see below:
On Thursday, Trump suggested that television networks that cover him “negatively” could face government punishment. This statement followed his expression of approval regarding ABC’s suspension of late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
Speaking to reporters on Air Force One during his return flight to the U.S. from a state visit to the UK, the president claimed that major U.S. networks were “97% against me.” However, he did not provide any evidence to support this statistic or explain how he arrived at that conclusion. He mentioned that he had read the figure “someplace.”
“Again, 97% negative, and yet I won easily. I won all seven swing states,” Trump said. “They give me only bad press. I mean they’re getting a license. I would think maybe their licenses should be taken away.”
The president’s claim that US TV networks need to be licensed by the government to operate is, however, incorrect. While local TV stations do require a license from the Federal Communications Commission, the FCC says clearly on its website that it does “not license TV or radio networks (such as CBS, NBC, ABC or Fox)”.
