Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee and his wife Brittany Furlan have separated after six years of marriage, according to TMZ.
The drummer and his wife have reportedly been living separately for the past two weeks, with his drinking allegedly being the reason for the split.
A source shared with TMZ that Furlan and others in Lee’s life think his drinking has gotten out of control. Despite urging him to get sober, Lee has allegedly refused.
While the couple are no longer living together, they still remain in contact.
Over the last week, there’s been some signs that Lee and Furlan have been experiencing troubles. This past Thursday, the drummer shared a video of himself in the studio saying he’s working on a song called “Stupid Girl.” That same day, he shared a message to his Stories that read: “I’m sorry, the feelings you’re trying to reach have been disconnected and are no longer available. Please take your bulls—t somewhere else.”
Sometime before that, he unfollowed his wife on Instagram.
TMZ’s source has stated that it is currently unclear whether or not Lee and Furlan intend to file for divorce.
