Tool gave a shoutout to The X-Files at their show last night in Atlanta, GA. During intermission, a classic phrase and tagline from the series was displayed: ‘I want to believe.’ The X-Files returned to television on FOX Sunday after 14 years off the air. The show originally ran from 1993 to 2002 for 9 seasons, with feature films released in 1998 and 2008.

On another interesting note, Maynard James Keenan told fans that the band would be seeing Tool again soon, which is a promising sign for future tours and the next album. There was also a fan dressed as a banana, who Maynard referenced during “Opiate.” There was a fan dressed as a penguin next to the banana.
