Ace Frehley Cancels 2025 Tour Following Health Scare

Ace Frehley, former guitarist and founding member of KISS, recently officially canceled the remainder of his 2025 live dates, citing “ongoing medical issues” after a recent hospitalization. The announcement came just days after he suffered a minor fall in his studio, which forced him to pull out of his scheduled performance at the Antelope Valley Fair. Reports confirmed that the incident led to a brief hospital stay.

Frehley addressed fans on social media on October 6, 2025, expressing regret over canceling his October and November shows. He stated that once recovered, he intends to return to work on his upcoming album, Origins Vol. 3. The statement emphasized that the decision was difficult but necessary for his health.

Amid online rumors, radio host Eddie Trunk clarified that Frehley did not suffer a stroke. Trunk explained that he spoke directly with Frehley, confirming the guitarist was dealing with serious health complications but that the situation is not as dire as some reports suggested.
