Nine Inch Nails 2025 tour attracts creepy fan

Nine Inch Nails’ 2025 tour has been a rousing success, but there was an unfortunate moment recently. A fan recently shared how they were disturbed during Nine Inch Nails’ stop in Baltimore on the “Peel It Back” Tour. As Trent Reznor was heading back to the backstage area, someone next to that fan reached over and grabbed Reznor on the shoulder, then boasted to the crowd that he did that twice now. The fan revealed that Reznor’s expression clearly conveyed his displeasure.

Yur1279 wrote, “Something that bothered me last night at Baltimore. As Trent was going back to the B stage, guy next to me reached over and grabs him on the shoulder. Then brags about how that twice now. The look on Trent’s face showed he did not appreciate it.

You’re not his friend, he doesn’t know you, don’t touch him. This goes for anyone, celebrity or not.

Sorry for the rant but people need to be better.”

Tool and Rob Zombie dealt with aggressive fans

This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Nearly 20 years ago at a Tool show, an overly enthusiastic fan rushed frontman Maynard James Keenan, who responded by throwing the fan over his shoulder, pinning them for the rest of the song, and screaming lyrics in his face—possibly even looping a mic cord around the fan’s neck in the chaos.

At another concert, Rob Zombie pushed a woman back forcefully when she grabbed him by his t-shirt after he’d come into the crowd mid-performance. His body-language reply was understandable given how unnerving unwanted contact can be.

These incidents illustrate the sense of entitlement some people feel toward artists, who are just human beings too, and it can be disrespectful and downright creepy.

Nine Inch Nails are currently touring on their “Peel It Back”< world tour: The tour launched on June 15th, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland, and runs through September 18th, 2025, with legs across Europe, the United States, and Canada.
