The Killers frontman Brandon Flowers mocked Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme during The Killers’ headlining set on Sunday at KROQ Almost Acoustic Christmas Night 2 in Los Angeles. QOTSA performed a Night 2 of the radio festival on Saturday, where Homme kicked photographer Chelsea Lauren.
At one point during The Killers set, Flowers invited a photographer up onto the stage, making reference to an incident that occurred the previous night where Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age kicked a photographer in the head.
“Come on up here. I’m not going to kick you in the face, just come on up here, it’s okay,” he said. “I just want to tell you to tell all your friends that you’re welcome here, and at any Killers concert you’re safe, and you’re respected.” Find that moment around the 9-minute mark in the video below.
The Killers also covered Morrissey, who canceled performing at the festival just a day prior.
