Radiohead headlined Coachella on Friday night, and will the band played a crowd pleasing set full of classics like “Creep,” the performance was marred by technical problems. It started early during “Ful Stop” with feedback and the volume level dropping, which Thom Yorke joked was due to ‘alien interference.’ No word if Blink-182’s Tom DeLonge, a UFO enthusiast, had anything to do with it. The problems continued during “Let Down,” which led to the band leaving the stage.

After that, the sound recovered, and the band turned in a solid performance. Yorke said (via Consequence of Sound), ““Can you actually hear me now?” I’d love to tell you a joke, lighten the mood, something like that. But this is Radiohead, so fuck it.”
