Axl Rose has proven yet again why he is the greatest rock star of 2016, with the Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC frontman now reaching out to a young waitress who was recently bullied.

An 18-year old waitress named Sadie Elldge was recently left a note on a customer’s receipt that said ‘We only tip citizens’ at Jess’ Quick Lunch in Harrisonburg. Elledge was born in America, and is of Honduran and Mexican descent. The story caught media attention, and ‘Jane The Virgin’ star Greice Santo decided to reach out to the young woman due to her own experiences being bullied. Santo treated Elledge to a makeover through her ‘Glam with Greice’ program.

After the makeover, Santo had one last surprise for Sadie. Guns N’ Roses and AC/DC frontman Axl Rose called Sadie on the phone and invited her to a AC/DC concert.

Greice Santo told Alternative Nation, “He reached out to me. Axl is a friend and I told him about Sadie and he already knew her story. When I told him about the Glam with Greice that I wanted to do he actually wanted to fly in personally and invite her to the Ft. Lauderdale show on August 30th and have her and her family flown down to show in Ft. Lauderdale and put up in beautiful hotel rooms there as well on his dime. He was going to pick up the WHOLE tab.

But Sadie could not come that day because there was a death in her family. So Axl told me we are coming near her town on September 17th at DC concert, let’s have her come then. Axl is one of the kindest and most generous men I’ve ever met and he is such a cool but down to earth regular guy. He really wanted to make this so special for Sadie and help me with my Glam with Greice initiative.

Axl called me at a certain time while I was with Sadie and the stylists and makeup artists and I put him on speaker to tell Sadie the GREAT NEWS!!!”

“I didn’t like this story [of what happened to Elledge],” Rose told Elldge. “I wanted to be a part of Greice’s plan and invite you to our AC/DC show in Washington, D.C.”

Sadie was overwhelmed by the support of Santo, Rose, and others.

Santo told Alternative Nation, “The Washington DC show is September 17th at the Verizon Center. Sadie will be bringing friends and family.”
