The Foo Fighters have had undoubtedly a busy 2022 as the group have been gearing up playing a slate of 2022 tour dates spanning both North America and the rest of the world as well as the rest of the release of their latest project – a horror-comedy film entitled Studio 666. The film, which stars not only the entire band but Scream’s Jenna Ortega as well as a host of celebrity A-listers comes out in theatres on February 25th. It was recently revealed that Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters are ‘losing money’ on tour with these legends.

Yet, as reported by Empire Online, one A-lister that was asked to participate in the film but turned down the chance was none other than ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise star Vin Diesel. However, you can still see several big names from Hollywood in the picture such as Will Forte, Jeff Garlin & Whitney Cummings.
Grohl stated what that experience was like below:

We f**king asked Vin Diesel to be in the movie! We were like, ‘Oh my god, ten million people will go see this film! And he said no.”

In other news regarding Dave Grohl and the Foo Fighters, During a recent interview and question and answer session with Deadline, the beloved Foo Fighters frontman recently discussed if there is going to be a potential sequel to Studio 666. Credit to the outlet for the following quote.

You never know. Believe me, we’ve talked about every f**king sequel possibility. Everything from getting the Wu Tang Clan in. I do think that whether it’s Foo Fighters or another band, I hope people will take the ball and run with it from here to bring that that rock and roll movie genre back. Look at all the f**king remakes that you have to suffer through every year. F*ck that, put the money towards sending Radiohead into a f**king into a haunted mansion and see what happens. Believe me, people will enjoy it.
