Ex-Bandmate Wishes Marilyn Manson Would Die: ‘He Should Put A Bullet In His Head’

Marilyn Manson’s former keyboardist Stephen Bier (formerly known by his stage name of Madonna Wayne Gacy, and his nickname of Pogo) recently wished death upon Manson on his Facebook page following the recent deaths of several prominent rock musicians, including David Bowie, Lemmy Kilmister, Scott Weiland, and Glenn Frey. Bier played with Manson from 1989 to 2007. Read his Facebook remarks below, where he refers to Manson by his real name, Brian Warner:

“I am genuinely amazed at how many prominent entertainers and musicians have kicked-off in the last 30 days… too bad Brian Warner isn’t one of them.”

“Apparently, the old cliche that ‘only the good die young’ is truth.”

“I can’t wait to do: the electric Boogaloo, the Texas two step, the waltz, and an Irish jig on his grave.”

“Maybe this is the end times, and it is a really slow rapture starting with musicians?”

“The best thing he can do to preserve his legacy, is put a bullet in his head and prove his integrity.”

“Presently, he is unintentionally… slowly… committing suicide one pill at a time.”

When someone commented that Manson would enjoy ‘butt stuff’ in hell with Kanye West, Wier agreed.

“Knowing the two of them, they would probably enjoy that, & I am not gay bashing.”

“He has been wanting to die for years now, absorbed in a ball of self delusion.”

Jesus…and some of you creeps out there in Alt Nation Lurkerville think *I’m* bad?? I better see every goddamn one of you hypocrites on Madonna Wayne Gacy’s FB telling him what a terrible, horrible person he is for posting stuff like this on the Internet..

  • Jimmy Intense

That guy is fucked despite Manson being an egotistical dick.

    • valhalla

ITA. What a despicable thing to say. BTW: Manson was excellent in Sons of Anarchy. Writer and cast said he was great to work with.

  • Janet Dust

you all are sick to post let alone think like that shit. So glad I never listen to Manson’s music or even liked him as an artist or person. Disgusting!!

    • Corndog

I’m not sure i understand your post. Are you saying that anyone that has posted under this article is sick?

Far as Manson’s music is concerned, have you ever actually listened to an album? I ask, because i had my own preconceived notions of what their music was. Basically i was never a fan of the whole dress up thing, and thought that if their music was in any way decent it should be able to stand up without all the theatrics. I let that put me off them literally for years until i finally listened to Antichrist Superstar and realised that the only problem had been my with me and my preconceptions, as the music was actually incredible. I then went out and bought all their other albums, and i am glad that i did. I was missing out on some great music.

      • Janet Dust

I’m talking about the story in general not the fans.

  • Julie Morris

Madonna is simply jealous….this is the only way he can get attention now…oh poor baby. Manson’s MILLIONS of fans are glad to give you a five second spot light.

“Presently, he is unintentionally… slowly… committing suicide one pill at a time.”

Let’s talk straight here: is he wrong on this? Fuck no!!! Whoever sees Manson sober is lying.
And thanks Heaven there’s someone honest which does not lick ass at every burp or mistake Manson do. This is why this person, “Pogo”, it is a personal hero in my heart. Not just for the big amount of great music he is credited and/or uncredited – but for his attitude: no compromises or sweet lies for making the fans happy.

And actually the phrase “He has been wanting to die for years now, absorbed in a ball of self delusion.” – IS FUCKING TRUE and all the honest fans can see it.

The phrase “I can’t wait to do: the electric Boogaloo, the Texas two step, the waltz, and an Irish jig on his grave.” is actually funny – and if you can’t take this humor because is against your “idol”, remember these words came from a person who conceived with him the concepts and the trademark sounds we all love to death of a now dead band, and remember Manson lives by telling many worse trivial jokes in every interview by the latest 10 years… and people still claim his “brilliance”. These people has never spoke seriously with Pogo for more than two posts. Then, you’d be blown away.. It’s normal they are hating each other for fuck’s sake… they lived together an incredible adventure for almost 20 years, fuck, some animosity is legit, or are we all priests and forgivers???

Manson is no saint nor a deity, and FUCK, finally someone tells like it is. Screw the “yes men” and “hardcore fans”.

I don’t think anyone tries to claim the fact Manson is sober, it’s pretty obvious whatever you’re a fan or not and I can understand you to a certain part when you think it’s finally someone who tells how it actually is but there are plenty of people, mostly frustrated fans on tumblr, who talks about his problems every now and then but I think the way Pogo put it out is very disrespectful, saying on facebook he wish Manson being dead. Why would anyone say something like that? I don’t care how much you hate a person, if you hate the person just ignore them and let them live their life as they do and take care of your own shit instead. If you are going to talk bad about him, at least do it in a mature way and have a proper discussion about it. Still don’t get it why people feel the need to bring back the discussion about Manson’s drug & alcohol problems when it’s been going on for so long. Sure, some people may care and worry about him and he might slowly kill himself by every pill he takes but if he survived the 90’s I’m pretty sure he will still be around for a long time and not die in the first place. It’s sad to see interviews or videos from concerts were he’s wasted, completely fucked up, when you know how smart and inspiring he can be but when he does a great performance, damn it’s great. I saw him twice last summer and one of the time was probably the best MM concert I’ve been to so far and I’ve been to a few. No matter what, I don’t see the funny in wish someone death or make funny of someone who clearly have problems but still try to do what he is doing best

Every time Marilyn Manson release a album people claim it to be his comeback, but last year WAS his comeback with The pale emperor. At least he still trying compared to Pogo who I haven’t heard anything from other than being bitter and hating on Manson on facebook.

      • Dani

We can just imagine how many human experiences, betrayals (like treating the band as a “company” instead of… a band), royalties questions, and bile there may be between the two…

what I may say is that, I still admire and follow Manson’s career since 1995… and Gacy was the only one actually to have spoke like it is, instead of not speaking at all, as many ex members politely did… sometimes, for being “shock rock listeners”, we are so polite… we forget they were a band of rabid dogs and that surely they are cursing each other from longer than we may even guess… this is rock ‘n roll too :)

        • Maria Karlsson

Indeed. As far as I know Manson isn’t on good terms with any ex band member expect Twiggy who comes and goes. Pogo is far from being the only one having problems with Manson and yeah, he is the only one who actually talks about it but at least the other ex band members goes on and do their own thing instead of being trapped into some old shit. I think it’s more about being professional than polite to not talk about what happened between them and Manson. What happened between them should stay between them. Of course, it’s good that someone tells us that Manson is far from being perfect as some people may think but still, keep it on a mature level. Normally, I would just shake my head and not care about what Pogo is saying but when he writes about how he wish Manson being dead, that’s completely different than just talk shit about him

          • Dani

I am friend with him on his page and honestly, he almost never speak of him… he is going ahead with his life and family… he likes to play with some friends but doesn’t want to publish anything, and some times he remembers beautiful things about as example, shooting a videoclip or sharing the stage with some great legends as Ozzy or Iggy, in a very funny way, and without insulting any of his ex band members… so, he really moved on… and well, this time he just told a “fuck off” too loud… 😀

          • Dani

Plus, Manson is the first who tells to the whole world how does he feels all the time… Pogo is doing it on his facebook private page, and the fact that became a news, shows there are some rats inside his profile as his public post just stated the first sentence…

          • Maria Karlsson

There’s probably a lot of people who are friends with him on facebook only to be updated when stuff like this happens

          • Alternative Nation

All of the posts are public, I saw them myself and I’m not friends with him on Facebook.

          • Maria Karlsson

Glad to hear but it’s far from being the first time he talks shit about Manson or any other member from the band. If he wants to keep it private he should make his facebook more private so people who isn’t friend with him can’t see what he is writing

      • Corndog

I agree totally. It’s pretty messed up to publicly wish someone was dead no matter how you feel about them.

Far as folks claiming every album is his comeback. Well i haven’t heard TPE yet, but i don’t think he ever ‘left’ in the first place. No comeback is necessary. Personally, i have enjoyed all his albums to some degree or other, with the exception of The High End Of Low, which i honestly thought was shite. Even Eat Me Drink Me had some really great songs on it, and i do not believe it to be the train wreck that some folks make out.

        • Maria Karlsson

Yeah, according to what Pogo write on facebook he just said it because he thought it was funny but he’s obviously satisfied with all the attention he gets now.

I agree, I don’t think he needs a comeback. Comeback from what? Like you said, he never left but yet you read review after review where people claim TPE to actually be his comeback.

I like THEOL just because it’s so personal, same with EMDM but clearly those albums are the two people seems to dislike the most.

          • Corndog

I couldn’t get into The High End Of Low. There just weren’t any songs on it that grabbed me at all. I like all his other albums to varying degrees though, Antichrist being my favourite.

He is probably just jealous because Marilyn Manson (the band) is still relevant and he isn’t a part of it anymore and hasn’t been for a long time. He is blaming Manson for being a drug addict while he’s apparently a junkie himself, to judge by his facebook who also sells old equipment from his time in the band that’s probably goes to drugs & alcohol, while talking shit about another ex band member who has cancer; saying how glad he is that the other ex band member got cancer and thinks it’s sad how he trying to get help to pay his treatments by gofundme. Such a dick. At least the money he gets from gofundme goes to a good cause and not something else.

I’ve never liked Pogo, always thought he is weird (in a bad way, you can be weird in a good way but he’s definitely not) and he continue to prove me why. Whatever happened between him and Manson, I’m glad it did because at least he isn’t a part of the band anymore. Sad to see he clearly isn’t over it yet after all these years.

Yes, Manson has problem with both drugs & alcohol as well but come on, why bring it up now when that’s been going on for many, many years? If he survived the amount of drugs he did back in the days he will not die for a very long time but it’s never okay to wish someone death no matter how much you hate the person.

    • Felonious Punk

      Maria Karlsson = Manson’s publicist

      • Maria Karlsson

Absolutely not, I’m just a regular Marilyn Manson fan since 10 years back who is tired of hearing the same old thing over and over again, all this is old shit. Everyone knows how much Pogo hate Manson and why and people know for sure that Manson have some problems, what’s new?

    • Jimmy Intense

“If he survived the amount of drugs he did back in the days he will not die for a very long time”

Sorry but what in the actual fuck? Tell that to people like Scott Weiland.

      • Maria Karlsson

I mean that some people still think Manson’s drugs problem is something new and he must calm down before he kill himself but if he haven’t kill himself by this time considering how much he used back in the days, he definitely will be around for a while. Just look at Ozzy, it’s a miracle he’s still around

        • Corndog

I get what you’re saying, but i don’t think it works like that. The fact that you may have survived doing a lot of drugs in the past doesn’t mean you wont drop dead because your heart has given out (or whatever, just for example) when you pop the next pill. It all takes its toll on your body and it all does damage so the fact that you have done a lot in the past (and are still doing it) makes it more likely that you’ll have a health issue, not less likely, i think.

          Just my two cents.

  • dearbravesheep

Poor guy. He was “the loser” twice in his life. Once before Manson made him, and then afterwards.

  • ITURBIDE

Poor Pogo…As a lifetime fan of MM, its obvious that the hedonistic lifestyle of the band wasn’t for everyone to handle. You need a death wish for the press to talk about you. Thats pathetic.

Berkowitz, Fish, Gacy, Zum, Borland, Skold…you name it. Only the strong survive.

Its a shame John 5 its not in the band anymore. The best guitar player Manson ever had.
